How we help
100% Giving
100% of our donations are given directly to the projects and the people. No one on our US team is salaried or given any compensation through donations. All expedition participants and team members volunteer their time and in many cases their resources as well. Our Kenyan coaches have paid salaries through a generous donor. All donations go to those in need within 30 days of receipt. (We do a wire transfer to the benefiting country each month via our trustworthy and dependable land coordinators.) The money you give to any project- whether large or small – we appreciate and is a great benefit because a little goes a long way. Your donations is also tax-deductible.
Self-Sustaining Projects
At Global LifeVision we don’t give hand outs – but rather hand ups. Our intention is to give people dignity by letting them earn their own. Therefore our projects include micro-loans that are paid back (the “hand up” is giving them the loan interest free.) Bead Projects where women are given a venue to sell their crafts. Cows and Goats where the first two calves (or kids) are given to other families in the village. We invest in sustainability that lasts and not short-term handouts that deny self-sufficiency. We don’t give them a fish, but rather teach them to fish.
OUR TEAM
Global LifeVision is run by volunteers and expedition participants in the US. In Kenya our team is both volunteers and salaried Ideal LifeVision Coaches. At Global LifeVision, we are committed to changing the world one life at a time through our various outreach programs. Our groups work with locals in training and projects that emphasize sustainable development. If you contribute or volunteer, you will be giving to projects that will continue.
