We envision a world where all people – even in the most remote areas of the globe – hold the power to create opportunity for themselves and others.  We believe providing safe, affordable access to capital to those in need helps people create better lives for themselves and their families.

At Global LifeVision we have 2 sources of Micro loans:

1 –  We serve as a Trustee at Kiva.org., the largest micro-loan institution in the world. Kiva works with microfinance institutions on five continents to provide loans to people without access to traditional banking systems. 100% of every dollar you lend on Kiva or through Global LifeVision goes directly towards funding loans; we do not take a cut.

2- We provide larger micro loans ($500+) to deserving entrepreneurs who need larger loans than they can get via Kiva

PARANAI GILISHO is a married woman aged 27 years.  She is a mother of three boys who are in school in Nkoilale Primary in Maasai Mara.

She has a shop in Nkoilale Trading Center that she has been running for two years now; she deals with food stuff and domestic utensil. With her business she educates her three boys and supports the family. Her biggest challenge is the cost of getting the goods to sell from retail shops in Narok, because transportation is expensive and breakages are always common.

She needs a loan of $500 to expand her business so that she sells goods in wholesale to other shops in the area.  Most shops get their stuff from a distant town (Narok) and if she had a wholesale shop she would save many business people from the expenditures incurred in getting goods from Narok and she would also make money through the sale.

She as a good connection with a major retail /wholesale supplier in Narok that would supply her with all the goods once a week. The loan would help her purchase the goods in bulk and put up new shelves in her shop to display the goods. She will use the profits obtained from her shop to repay the loan on a monthly basis, and also cater for her family.

**When providing a loan, please use the “Donate” button (even though it’s a loan). Also, please put “Paranai” in the additional notes section. Loans over $25 are highly appreciated for this micro-loan.
